Artist: TRIN Dance Theatre Title: Curtain hits the cast Music: Sound score by TRIN ft. various artists Performers: Gia Bella, Tippy Dringman, Annalise Gehling, Mason Gray, Casey Shea, Keilan Stafford, Monica Williams Bio: TRIN is a contemporary dance theatre company directed by three Los Angeles dance artists: Monica Williams, Tippy Dringman, and Mason Gray. After 7 years of creating and performing together, the trio collectively founded TRIN as a dance theatre project in 2021. TRIN is a collective that exists out of friendship, is centered upon community, and creates space to connect, explore, play, and perform. TRIN’s dance work is theatrical, daring, sensual, queer, comedic, and a real labor of love for one another and the stories we have to share. Monica, Tippy, and Mason met at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, where they each earned their Bachelor of Arts in Dance. They naturally gravitated toward one another and quickly became close friends and creative collaborators. TRIN has been creating and performing together since 2016, where they have shown original works at Highways Performance Space, Stomping Ground LA, Hooverhaus, Thymele Arts, East Hollywood Performing Arts Center, Atwater Village Theatre, and Cinedanza Festival. The work you are about to see is a deep dive into character research for TRIN’s The Greatest Show on Earth. / @trindancetheatre
Artist: Kate Wallich w/ Tate Justus Title: TBD Music: Waterworks by 1010benja (stand in music) Performers: Kate Wallich, Tate Justus Bios: Kate Wallich is a dancer, choreographer, educator, and founder who believes in the combined power of artists and the public. Named one of Dance Magazine’s “25 To Watch,” Kate has cultivated community through Dance Church®, the inclusive dance-fitness movement she founded in 2010, and Studio Kate Wallich, the nonprofit arts organization she started that housed her dance companies for ten years and now serves as an incubator for dance-based, design-forward experiences (like WIP!). Her work has been commissioned and presented nationally and internationally by institutions like Walker Art Center, On the Boards, MASS MoCA, The Joyce Theater, ICA Boston, and Velocity Dance Center among others. In 2019, she collaborated with Perfume Genius on the critically acclaimed dance and music performance The Sun Still Burns Here. Together, they are collaborating on a new large-scale performance project with artists Alan Wyffels and Tate Justus, commissioned by Seattle Theatre Group, Liquid Music, and Northrop, premiering in the 2025/2026 arts season. Kate lives and works in Los Angeles, intentionally working outside of the traditional dance company model. / @katewallich @dance_church
